After a recent visit to the Great regency town of Cheltenham in the heart of the Cotswolds, it becomes clear to see why this town is (or most of it) included within a conservation area of national importance.

When you arrive at Cheltenham Spa railway station, you are about a twenty minute walk from the middle of town, although there is a bus service into town, I thought that with all my luggage, to hire one of the Cheltenham Taxis queing outside the statio, as that would take me directly to the Cheltenham Chase. As it turned out, this hotel is the other side of the town centre from the railway station, so I was happy that I did not attempt to walk it, even though most of the buildings on route deserved much more of my attention than they got, briskly passing them by in one of the finest Taxi Cheltenham had to offer! The decision had already been made that I would have to have a good long slow walk around regency Cheltenham to take in some of the finest buildings that this fair town has to offer.

For those who didn’t read part I, I’ve told that I live in an Akumal Villa and that I decided to spent Holidays with my boyfriend’s family in Merida; a four hour drive distance city.

After hours of nearly dying from starvation and having literally robbed food from the forbidden to guests table, we had dinner, asked for posada (Mexican Holiday tradition) and fist hitted a piñata! I was tired! So I begged to be taken to bed, in the moment I missed my Akumal Villa.

Since we didn’t had a place to stay in Merida and we brought our dog with us, we decided to start looking for motels or any drive in hotel type where we could infiltrate our dog, since Mexican 4 stars hotels don’t accept dogs, in fact dogs are not welcome indoors anywhere. We finally found a holiday inn type of hotel where the infiltration was piece of cake!

Missing my family on the 25th morning was very sad, so I thought about my Akumal villa to feel better, somehow the thought of my home made me felt better. But it was imposible not tho think of my family reunions on the 25th mornings; were I would all meet to watch traditional seasonal movies until lunchtime. I cannot remember feeling that way since summer camp’s infinite homesickness.

I needed to return to my Akumal villa for starters and maybe rent a season movie and take advantage of technology and meet my mom and brother over skype or whatever! I needed my family there with me.

Fast foods – Well, this is definitely a no-brainer (to say the least). Uhm, maybe or maybe not, who knows. Maybe you didn’t know that those morning biscuits and sausage were loaded with all the fattening grease? Perhaps you don’t think about it while driving down the road on your way to work? Who knows, but now you do.

Pork anyone? – Did you know that pork is high in fat and cholesterol already. They are some of the nastiest animals and eat just about anything. They are full of cholesterol and sadly enough, many people fry them in grease.

There are many types of food that are loaded with cholesterol. We can choose to be knowledgeable in what we do or we can continue feeding our bodies junk. The choice is yours!
