One of the most annoying things about Steve is that he never seems to lend a hand. Ever since he proposed to me three months ago, I have been asking him to help me to plan out the wedding day. However, no matter how insistent I am on its involvement in planning of the first day of our marriage, he does not seem to want to do anything about it. Please understand that I am not being overly emotional about this. I’m an old fashioned type of girl, and I think that the wedding day is the most important of my life. But is it too much to ask for my husband to be to at least give his groomsmen gifts some thought?
My mother, my sisters, and my one brother and I had already done most of the planning. All I’m asking Steve to do is to give the selection of the wedding party some thought. But it seems all he wants to do is watch basketball, baseball, and sometimes even poker on television. To tell you the truth I am beginning to question my decision to accept this proposal. Is shopping for groomsmen gifts really so hard?
So I talked to his friend Jacob to see what I can do to have them at lease look at some gifts for his groomsman. He suggests that I make it easy on him as possible. So I pointed him to a few online stores which sells wedding party gets. These includes personalized mugs, knives, even baseball bats. From this one place we can shop from everything from ring bearer gifts to flower girl jewelry to even my bridesmaid jewelry. He seemed to enjoy this idea. I also hope so for our marriage’s sake.
