AV Installation

Filed under: Uncategorized — george @ 8:32 am

For most people, the process of audio visual installation is no more involved than pulling their new LCD or plasma TV from a very big cardboard box and plugging it into a home cinema system, clicking the “on” switch and waiting for the auto set up program to run.

If you’ve bought a cheap home cinema system and TV that’s probably ok although to be reasonable to the makers, you ought to allocate a bit of time to following the installation instructions fairly.

But we are all impatient at this moment!

But just suppose that you have invested in better quality home cinema kit and have an excellent quality high resolution LCD or plasma display or even a projector then it is often worth getting a qualified AV Installer to help configure and set up your equipment so that you get the very best audio and visual experience.

There is no point in owning top notch electronics and paying little attention to setting it up carefully.

Careful AV installation does matter. It makes a huge difference.

AV Installers are true experts in picture and sound calibration. They can help you get the best from your equipment using specialist technical equipment of their own. But if you are after a top quality AV installation and have a reasonably large budget then you should consider using an AV installer to help you specify the equipment you need in the first place. The ideal system should take into account the quality of the space and acoustics of your home cinema so that you get the cinema quality AV experience you want. Large rooms with high ceilings and hard reflective surfaces need very different settings on your amplifier than low rooms with plush carpets and curtains.

A qualified AV technician will show you how he works without boring and bamboozling you with too much technical jargon but never forget that the ultimate judge of your AV Installation is you yourself.
